Pecan Nut and BAR-ONE Tart

The buttery crust is filled with a luscious mixture of pecans and melted BAR-ONE, creating a delectable dessert that is sure to please your palate.

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 170 g golden syrup
  • 45 g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 50 g butter
  • 45 g BAR-ONE Spread
  • 250 grams Nuts, Pecans
    Roughly chopped

Preparation

    Place the chopped pecan nuts into the tart case and set aside
  • 2
    Melt the butter, sugar, chocolate and BAR-ONE Spread over a low heat

    Remove from the heat and add the syrup and eggs

    Pour the mixture over the pecan nuts till it is just covered

    In a preheated oven at 180°C bake the tart till firm, about 30-35 minutes

    Portion and serve with vanilla ice cream and poached pears.
