Ingredients
  • 2 cups Wheat flour, white, cake, enriched
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 kilogram Nestle Bar-One Energy Spread 5kg
  • 146 grams Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt, plain, low fat, 12 grams protein per 8 ounce
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 6 grams Bicarbonate of Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt, Table
  • 1/2 teaspoon Spices, Cinnamon, Ground
  • 2 cups Bananas, raw
    Mashed Ripe Bananas (About 2 Medium Banana)
  • 1/2 cup Raisins, seedless
    Chopped
  • 115 grams Rooibos Tea

    Preheat your oven to 160°C and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, honey or maple syrup, Barone spread, eggs, rooibos tea, plain yogurt, vanilla extract, bicarbonate of soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well until smooth.

    Fold in the mashed bananas and raisins.

    Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

    Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

    Remove the loaf from the oven and allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
