Creamy Peri-Peri Chicken Livers

These tender and succulent chicken livers are cooked in a rich and spicy peri-peri sauce, creating a deliciously satisfying dish

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 Medium Onions, Raw
  • 1 Garlic Clove, Crushed
  • 500 grams Chicken livers, raw
  • 30 grams MAGGI Chilli Original Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp (30ml) MAGGI LAZENBY Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Can Diced Tomato Mix
  • 1 can (290g) NESTLÉ Dessert & Cooking Cream
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • Red or Green Chilli, Sliced
  • Bread Rolls

    Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onion and garlic for 5 minutes.

    Increase the heat and add the chicken livers, searing each side for 1 minute.

    Add the MAGGI LAZENBY worcestershire sauce and tomatoes and cook for 4-5 minutes.

    Stir in the cream and simmer for 2 minutes.

    Serve topped with fresh coriander and chillies, if desired, and vetkoek or bread rolls.
