Nestlé FoodServices moved to Nestlé Professional due to the growing importance and potential of the out-of-home food and beverage industry. Nestlé’s aim is to maintain its ground as a global leader in branded hot and cold beverage solutions, as well as food service supplies.
The new name represents more than a new direction. It represents the evolution of a brand.
Under the new global banner, Nestlé Professional will concentrate on Customer support, looking at ways in which it can add value to its Customer’s business by offering solutions and generating ideas that will help operators grow their business competitively. Because of this global connection, Nestlé Professional will have almost instant access to information on international markets and trends, allowing it to respond more quickly to global developments.
The decision to move from Nestlé FoodServices to Nestlé Professional was a tactical one that recognised the growing importance and exciting potential of the out-of-home food and beverage area. Nestlé’s aim is to be the clear global leader in branded hot and cold beverage solutions as well as local and regional leader in branded food in line with consumer taste expectations.
However, changing to Nestlé Professional isn’t so much a new direction for Nestlé as an evolution. It is also an acknowledgement that FoodServices is a separate division to retail but equally as important.
