Ingredients
- BAR-ONE Spread45 g
- sweet pastry tart base, blind baked1 x 20 cm
- pecan nuts, roughly chopped500 ml
- butter50 g
- dark chocolate, finely chopped45 g
- golden syrup170 g
- eggs2
Method
- Place the chopped pecan nuts into the tart case and set aside
- Melt the butter, sugar, chocolate and BAR-ONE Spread over a low heat
- Remove from the heat and add the syrup and eggs
- Pour the mixture over the pecan nuts till it is just covered
- In a preheated oven at 180°C bake the tart till firm, about 30-35 minutes
- Portion and serve with vanilla ice cream and poached pears
